Nov 06, 2022

Balaclava is a kind of wool hood that almost completely encloses the head and neck, with only eyes and some noses exposed.

The balaclava was originally a wool hood for mountain climbers and skiers to wear in cold weather. Later, however, its meaning was further extended. People called the headgear with the characteristics of the balaclava (covering the face, only exposing the eyes and nose) balaclava.
